Usage
CNFPT uses XWiki to power a public information and learning platform designed for local government agents and citizens interested in local authority activities. The platform enables structured content sharing, community interaction, moderated publishing, and integration of external content through RSS. It also supports features like automatic keyword annotation, exportable content collections, and dynamic homepages tailored to user needs.
Description
To support its goal of making information a tool for learning, CNFPT adopted XWiki to create a collaborative public website that organizes, moderates, and shares resources on public service missions and territorial news. The implementation included a wiki farm setup, visual and functional customizations, and development of tools for structured data entry, RSS integration, content moderation, and keyword annotation using CNFPT’s dictionary. The result is an interactive, evolving platform that averages 60,000 page views per month, with peaks reaching 75,000.
