Bug Fixing Day 25

Yesterday we had our Bug Fixing Day #25. For the 5.x development cycle we've decided to intensify our bug fixing and invert the bugs created vs bugs fixed ratio so that we're always in the green, by having weekly BFDs.

We've set a new goal of breaking even for the past 1200 days (i.e close to 3 years!).

We managed to close 12 bugs.

At the moment of writing, we're now 8 bugs behind (we were at 27 after last BFD). Making progress... emoticon_smile

The XWiki development team is proud to announce the availability of XWiki Enterprise 5.0.3. This is a bugfix release for the 5.0.x cycle. The blocking bugs that leaded to this release are a regression with right checking in old API and the New Page menu not showing up or user without admin right.

Bug Fixing Day 23

Last Thursday we had our Bug Fixing Day #23. For the 5.x development cycle we've decided to intensify our bug fixing and invert the bugs created vs bugs fixed ratio so that we're always in the green, by having weekly BFDs.

We've set a new goal of breaking even for the past 1200 days (i.e closed to 3 years!).

During the last BFD, we had only 3 participants... Still they managed to close 11 bugs. Congrats to them!
