This is the eleventh year XWiki has participated in the Google Summer of Code (GSOC 2018) program.
Google Summer of Code is a global program focused on introducing students to open source software development.
Student participants are paired with a mentor from the participating organizations, gaining exposure to real-world software development and techniques.
After 12 weeks of hard work, GSOC 2018 has come to an end. This year the program had 1,072 students from 59 countries that have successfully completed their project. There were 212 open source organizations involved and over 2,100 mentors from all around the world.
XWiki had 12 mentors involved at various levels, either with proposals or as org administrators, and from our list of 12 proposed projects, we had 3 successful projects implemented.

See you next year!
